The monthly cost for health insurance through using Cal Maritime ($627) is more than what I spent for health insurance for a single person via COBRA ($494.36) in California from 2018 - Spring 2019.
- antcas 6y agoIf you qualify for COBRA or Medicaid that might be a better option. California is also an odd bird in general and a lot of their public schools didn't offer a student health plan for part time students that I could find.
