Corporate monopolies can easily force one-sided contracts on users, but that's just a reflection of their market power. In a perfect world judges would rule them unenforceable, in our world corporations fund the people who appoint judges.
- bastardoperator 6y agoI don't see anyone be forced to engage with Google, and it's not as if the play store doesn't provide value back to developers. It's enforceable because it isn't one sided. In a perfect would we hold the legislators accountable for this mess since they're the ones writing these laws.
