I did manage to get it working but it has a ton of issues with Youtube vp9 decoding despite Chromium's years-old implementation working fine. This is complex stuff. I spent a day last week trying to figure out why hevc vaapi patches for OBS were failing with mkv containers but not mp4 ones. Its just really ugly C apis all the way down.
