I guess I like the thin persistent border around the canvas that has quick access to menus and information rather than the hidden taps and swipes from the sides that I'd need to remember. And Procreate does a good job at letting me go from landscape to portrait in a fluid way - the tools and menu adjust, but the canvas doesn't
