For the entertainment of the creator. Maybe you are right that AGI will be entertained by watching humans turn into vegetables as they aimlessly watch a screen for hours at a time, but I suspect not.
- stickfigure 6y agoI think you're oversimplifying human motives here. A lot of humans genuinely care about the well-being of pets and wildlife, even when they're not in sight. Look how much effort was put into reviving the California Condor. Maybe let's hope that a hypothetical AGI finds us "cute".
