- 08-15 6y agoAnd Timothy McVeigh used ammonium nitrate with nitromethane to blow up a federal building in Oklahoma city. What's your point? That terrorists use shitty explosives if they can't get the good stuff like Semtex? Meanwhile, much larger amounts of ammonium nitrate are used as fertilizer. Makes me wonder why the Lebanese authorities didn't sell the stuff as fertilizer to get rid of it.
