Without Amazon, there is no business for UPS/USPS/FedEx to deliver Amazon packages... Heck, the deliveries that Amazon choses not to do themselvs, is extra business for UPS, USPS and FedEx. Also, there is a great deal of shipping that has nothing to do with Amazon.
