I know for earnings reports the SEC uploads XBRL documents to EDGAR. Weird that they don't do the same for S-1s.

I know for earnings reports the SEC uploads XBRL documents to EDGAR. Weird that they don't do the same for S-1s.
- filleokus 6y agoApparently that's voluntary for IPO S-1s [0]: > Financial statements in XBRL also are required as exhibits to Securities Act registration statements that contain financial statements, such as Form S-1 (except registration statements filed in connection with an initial public offering).
