That assumes that “wealthy people funding research” is the only source of research funding. Sure if Epstein was funding a bunch of research 100% we could just ignore it and move on... some man hours wasted. But if the guys he funded got other funding, taking it away from people researching stuff that isn’t eugenics, then there is a problem.
