I understand they're not the same, but I'm wondering if it would be reasonable to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 stimulus checks as a data point to inform the effects of UBI.
- captainbland 6y agoThere are presumably too many confounding factors to make that a worthwhile comparison. It's pretty hard to control for businesses semi-voluntarily closing their doors and people actively avoiding the ones that are staying open.
