What was the control in the A/B test?
I've seen lots of recommendation algorithms fail against curated recommendations. It would be really interesting to see where / what this approach beats.
Would also be really curious to how stores have reacted to the revenue model. Is that a one-time fee based on the A/B test results or are you capturing a cut of the uplift in perpetuity?

In general, the more SKU:s, the better result our method yields, since they have to deal with sparse datasets & cold start problems if they use classic collaborative filtering based methods. And naturally, if you have more products it becomes a huge pain to do them all manually, especially if you have a reasonable product turnover.
