In a way every App Store is somewhat a walled garden. I like that there aren’t a 1000 anti-virus scam apps on the App Store. Just want the process to be sane. Like being able to install other apps on the Mac. They make it very hard to install non Apple signed apps. But it’s possible. In iOS, it’s not possible. It’s my device, let me do what I want with it. Let me create things with it, not be just a content consumer.
