I'd love it if someone managed to reverse engineer the Remarkable such that we could run our own Linux distro on it with access to all the hardware. The Remarkable is an awesome device, but it's so very limited by the software. It's extremely difficult to use it in a enterprise scenario due to lack of at rest encryption (on device) and no (official) private cloud options.
