Also the Austrian App (with the same basic idea behind it, albeit slightly differently done) was open sourced I believe so that others could "just" use pen tested and privacy focused code to develop their app for contact tracing. And while I am a user of the German app, because i value the upsides of contact tracing, I would do everything possible to not be monitored 24/7 by such a campus spyware.
