  Adobe needs to pay. And pay a lot! Make an example of them -- this kind of bullshit -- blame the user for everything -- needs to stop.

  Was there any warranty? I guess the license is the bog standard everything disclaimed, all "as is" type.

  Did anything happen to Microsoft when a windows update lost users files? I don't remember hearing anything about users receiving any kind of compensation. Don't know why Adobe's blunder would be any different
