I don't understand how any developer can willingly use a Mac these days. When you buy a Mac, you don't own it. I have a similar idea about services like Amazon Lambda; why would developers build apps tightly integrated with a product that they don't own. Most millennials these days own nothing because they keep perpetually accepting their position as 'renters' through every decision they make.
