Holy crap. Feels like just yesterday they hit 1T.
- maps7 6y agoI was actually surprised when I read it because I felt the same way.
- felipellrocha 6y agoYour first T is always the hardest
- beached_whale 6y agoWell, it is about 30 doublings from the first dollar
- deleted 6y ago[deleted]
- Jugurtha 6y agoI believe 30 doublings are about a billion. The poster is referring to a "Trillion".

- fastball 6y agoYep, and that's just 40 doublings. Add 10 doublings to go up 3 orders of magnitude.
- beached_whale 6y agooops, I was even thinking billion when I thought about it. Nice little slip where Trillion and dollars probably don't really mix that often
- nightski 6y agoYeah when you gain 59% in value in a single year during a pandemic that will do it. Bezos net worth has also gone up 80B (to 190B, even after a divorce haha). Musk up 60B while Tesla has a what, 900 PE ratio? Zuck up 20+B. The pandemic has served our tech overlords well.
- portmanteaufu 6y agoThey hit $1T on August 2nd, 2018. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/apple-is-the-first-1-trillion-company-in-history/2018/08/02/ea3e7a02-9599-11e8-a679-b09212fb69c2_story.html https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/apple-is-the...
- theandrewbailey 6y agoCook's Law: Apple's value will double approximately every 24 months.
- zionic 6y agoIs this a sign of pending hyper inflation?
- supernova87a 6y agoHave you heard of Benford's Law? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benford%27s_law https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benford%27s_law The first time some natural process hits the first digit = "1" is the hardest, then the next digits are just a power law of frequency from that.
