As someone who has it, you learn to be cautious about "partial matches" where you recognize some elements of someone (backpack, waterbottle, gait, voice, hair style, etc) but aren't 100% sure. It's pretty embarrassing to realize that the person you just started talking to in fact is not your friend but just has the same jacket.
