I would have thought it would look something like this;
We estimate it has caused 2,2T in damage and are seeking 100B.
They are obviously very smart people and haven’t done it like this for a reason.

- happytoexplain 6y agoWhy would the amount sought be less than the damages? Just because they can't practically recuperate it doesn't mean they shouldn't state that it is what they are owed.
