The only thing stopping me from using it as a daily driver is MMS:

Ubuntu Touch seems to be the closest to be able to have MMS (it uses Ofono, all of the other distros seem to use Modem Manager). However, it is a bit disappointing as no ground seems to be done on it. I admittedly don't have experience in that, but I would be more than willing to donate time/money if I knew how to.
- gardaani 6y agoSailfish OS supports MMS. I've been using Sailfish for years without issues in MMS.
- kop316 6y agoHeh, interesting. Even on the Pinephone? I know Ubuntu Touch supports MMS but does not on the Pinephone. Same with Glodroid (the Android Port to Pinephone). I have been doing some work with MMS on it recently: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/ModemManager/-/issues/227 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/ModemManager... I don't think it's a far off as a lot of folks thought.
