I actually own a TAP (gen 2). It's surprisingly quick to pick up, especially with the apps, and once you get used to them they work surprisingly well. One of the reasons I got it was actually how appealing the alternate mouse inputs were. I tend to "collect" dexterity-based hobbies, so ymmv, but I found it pretty fun and satisfying to pick up. I'm completely out of practice now (new baby and wfh sucked up a bit more of my free time) but might just pick it back up anyways.
