Not that it's "better" than love for a soulmate, relative, or friend, but it's different and in a class of its own. This also seems to miss is the journey. Raising children is a challenging, varied, rollercoaster experience. It's nearly impossible to go through it without growing tremendously as a person. In most cases, kids will help you become a better version of yourself.
