Why colleges need their own court system is beyond me. We have a perfectly usable one that actually has reasonable protections for the accused. It's sad that officials in the Dept of Education can put in place such an egregious system, which is literally designed to infringe on people's rights, and not face any consequences. Like so many things at that level, there are expectations for officials to act properly and protect our rights, but when they don't, there is no specified punishment.
