Ideas have no value, on the other hand execution and management team mean everything. From an investor's perspective: If you can't prototype or demo your idea then you aren't invested in it yourself. The only exception I've seen to this is if you already have a successful track record behind you (and even then my guess is that with the experience you'd want to prototype what you want to do).
