No Bathroom Relief in Sight for Thousands Living on the Street
- woodandsteel 6y agoConservatives explain homelessness as due to liberalism. They say this works two ways. In way, liberal values causes people to make poor life decisions that lead to them lose their jobs. In the other way, liberal economic policies lead to a lack of jobs and also overly expensive housing.
- mansion7 6y agoPlus, "We gave at the office". We'd prefer to give our funds for homelessness and the like to charities we trust, can vet, and can hold accountable. Instead, those funds are appropriated from us and given to governmental entities, run by people who often hate us, where they are promptly squandered, mismanaged, or redirected into lobbying for higher budgets for themselves. Seeing this happen over and over tends to lead to apathy, if not disgust for the homeless, warranted or not.

- Fjolsvith 6y agoIf national policies cause homelessness, why isn't there a homeless problem in western Kansas?

- stevespang 6y agoSneak preview of a Biden presidency: Immediate executive order from the bleeding heart liberals making it a crime to deny the homeless the right to come and use your store restroom as long as they want, sit in and enjoy your AC, regardless that you can smell them 100 feet away and all your best customers have decided to shop elsewhere . . .
