Saying they're making enough money is hardly an argument. While there is value in using an iPhone, there is also value in being a developer that develops for the iPhone and can reach the userbase.
Is the value too steep? Idk, how does supply and demand work? Why do people develop for the market if the cut is slow large.
- athms 6y agoThey develop because they make money and often more on iOS than Android even though Android has a larger market share. That said, people would be still complaining if Apple's cut was only 10%. People complain about the 3-5% that payment processors charge retailers. People complain about the $.35 Arco gas stations charge for using a debit card. People complain about the dime grocery stores charge for paper bags in California.
