What part of being heavily opposed to homophobic organisation is degenerate in your opinion?

HN is a site for curiosity, not repetition (https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&sort=byDate&type=comment&query=curiosity%20repetition%20by:dang https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=false&so...) and particularly not flamewars (https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html), which are the most destructive form of repetition. The GP should not have posted flamebait, and the repliers should not have taken the bait.
