Yes, I would generalize a bit more and say the most permanent skill is the ability to learn & adapt. Can you learn from your social faux pas? Can you learn how to collaborate more effectively? Can you learn new software? Can you develop structure in highly uncertain environments? It is the rate at which one can adapt that I find to be most permanent. (In other words, and with some irony, the thing which is the most permanent is the capacity to change.)
