As another outsider looking in I've been shocked lately by the state governors. I thought Trump was aberration, but seeing how many mini trumps are running states shows that he is more of the norm than I ever realized. If I was in one of the saner parts of the country I'd be joining secessionist movements, they country just seems ungovernable as is.
- war1025 6y agoSince Iowa is pretty high up on that list of "states that are run by mini-Trumps", I'll just throw in my two cents that for a state that is supposedly doing "everything wrong", life is basically normal here. We wear masks when going into stores now. That's literally the only major change to an otherwise normal life.
