The paper says "Reddit’s lassez faire approach
to sanctioning demonstrates an ethos of lawlessness; when lawlessness is framed as ‘free speech,’ moderation is seen as censorship".
You may not agree with this sentence, but it is definitely not calling free speech "lawlessness".
