That paper calls opposition of immigration "discrimination" and free speech "lawnessness". I don't agree with that.

  The paper says "Reddit’s lassez faire approach to sanctioning demonstrates an ethos of lawlessness; when lawlessness is framed as ‘free speech,’ moderation is seen as censorship". You may not agree with this sentence, but it is definitely not calling free speech "lawlessness".

  It's a really toxic white paper, but they are from Reddit so what did you expect? I'd only somewhat agree "hostility towards immigration" is not "discrimination" It's worded in that toxic Reddit way to cause conversations like these, it's imprecise what they mean with "hostility" but that's the authors Reddit world to enrage and be enraged. The author is not a Moderator from my reading. It'd be interesting if a AskHistorians moderator would write a proper paper and how it would sound.
