That is interesting, because one of the black (should I call him that, I find "black" polarising) comedians here, Steven Brunswijk, used to call himself Braboneger which is a combination of his province and the mentioned word. However he stopped calling himself that because it wouldn't help his career (which I suppose means: others find it offensive).
