If your work is good quality, it's almost certainly worth much more than $9 an hour. I would seriously consider: - negotiating with your friend to reduce his share - as long as it's still profitable to him, he should be willing to move a little. - trying to find some other freelancing work opportunities so that you don't feel pressured to accept your friend's terms.
