I agree the sticker price is a bit high; I got mine on sale. Gen3 is coming out soon (or is already out) so I imagine there will be more sales on Gen2 soon. The real selling point for me is no Nvidia. That's hard/impossible to find on a current-gen laptop with similar specs.
