- mxcrossb 6y agoI was confused by this too. I wonder if it means that the spacecraft was able to enter into its orbit and circle around taking pictures, as opposed to one pass by
- martinpw 6y agoYes, clearly every asteroid has its own gravity. I guess what it should say is that it has a strong enough gravitational field to allow a spacecraft to be placed into orbit and have it stay there.
