Ask HN: What cloud architecture did you choose and why?

Today there are a lot of different choices for setting up and deploying cloud architecture. The main ones seems to be: 1) spinning up your own VM or dedicated servers 2) using an auto-scaling service like AppEngine, Elastic Beanstalk 3) using a container service like Kubernetes 4) using an edge service Cloudflare Workers At the end of the day, I think the common goal is to serve your users in a reasonable manner (e.g reliably & fast). What cloud architecture did you choose for your application and why?
