Since we're probably reaching the end of our ability to keep checking on here, do feel free to email me -- I think it's probably possible to throw a spanner into the works of your hypothesis about boomer stock causing a sustained decline with a model (which I'd be happy to build!) taking into account the scarcity of stock, growing population and increasing life expectancy. I think the most likely outcome is that we have a lull a little like the 1980s and then the same dynamic perpetuates. Also would love to respond to some of your other points in more detail!
