- Diederich 6y agoThanks, quite relevant though over 40 years old. This is a pretty accurate representation of how people felt about the phone company back then. Being able to easily talk to people all over the world was amazing and the technology was appreciated. However, still prior to the mandatory breakup in the early 1980s, customer service was often a bit of a joke.
