- kevincox 6y agoThat's not what the article claims. It claims that it was only adding a warning.
- MauranKilom 6y agoThe code already has UB if it does not respect the "const in spirit"-ness of what those functions return. The warnings would be introduced to prevent new code from triggering that foot gun.
