I don't disagree per se, but I think you could say this about just about any hobby/habit/interest. Is it really necessary? Probably not, but it makes some people happy for whatever reason. How do you draw the line? Some people complain that travel is too hard on the environment..but I love travel and will continue to do so (post-covid)
