Apple CPUs are nowhere close to things like Ryzen or Thread ripper when it comes to multi-threaded performance. Moreover, most modern games can make use of at the very least 4 to 8 threads nowadays, so I would expect Apple silicon to fair poorly on most game benchmarks (assuming they were ported to ARM, of course).
