My wife and I created a game as a save the date for our wedding, with 8-bit avatars of ourselves that guests could play to "save the date". A number of guests played it multiple times in an attempt to be on the high scores board - we even gave out prizes to the top three scores! We got a lot of feedback that other people would want to be able to have a similar game, so we rebuilt a customizable version where people can create their own avatars, dialogue, and other game aspects.
