I don’t like it either but history is all horrible in that way and the school of thinking that we’re on some teleological path to kindness is wishful thinking. Also, Hillary was a hawk too, albeit a different kind.
- monadic2 6y agoIDK, it's hard to point to a country in the world that has made domination so central to their identity. Rome, maybe? England for sure.
