Doesn't wifi include retransmission (at the media layer!) for this very reason? (Yes, it's ugly.)
- dfox 16y agoContrast that with wired ethernet that includes retransmission in media layer as a solution to congestion (the retransmission algorithm works only for congestion and other causes of packet loss on wired ethernet ar insignificant).
