No kidding about one out of every 10 times I open my iPad Pro connected to the Magic Keyboard, it turns on the screen in portrait mode. It really should be smart enough to know you can’t use a Magic Keyboard in portrait mode. So now I have to tip my entire laptop on its side to get it to switch back and I look like a dumbass because Apple can’t fix their rotation.
