US gov is seriously plotting military actions to China. I don't think this is reasonable or useful.
- LandR 6y agoWouldn't surprise me at all if trump tries to start a war with China as the US gets closer to election.
- NotSammyHagar 6y agoStarting a war seems like a 'good' strategy to build more support for him, because a president during a war always has more support (at least if it doesn't go disastrously wrong, like the Vietnam war, and that would take longer to become apparent than from now till the election). I sincerely hope that it isn't allowed by his multiple 'acting leaders' who wouldn't pass the easy barrier of senate confirmation.
- valuearb 6y agoThese are unarmed reconnaissance planes. This has been going on for 70 years, Russia and China do similar things.

- valuearb 6y ago“Warplanes” is an alarmist term for a plane armed with nothing more than cameras.
- xster 6y agoI might be wrong. I'm not aware of the Chinese military flying in the gulf of Mexico however.
