And the iPhone X lasted about as long[0]. I’m unclear why we see unusually short product life cycles as being some kind of indication that All Is Not We’ll. Sometimes a product is a dud, sometimes the tech changes and it makes sense to release a new product for market or economic reasons.

- mattkevan 6y agoThe X was only discontinued when the new one was available to buy. Discontinuing the 4 means that Google will be without a flagship phone until whenever the new one is released.
