IMHO the solution is a smart combination of server and client side rendering. Client side rendering in my experience tends to increase the number of requests, especially if you are using a microfrontend approach. More requests means more latency, unless all request are running in parallel, which is not always feasible. Note that with regards to latency the speed of the web did not change much and won't change much anytime soon (at least noton the desktop)With Vue and some other frameworks the complexity of this approach became acceptable in the meantime.
