We need a file system API for databases, much like /proc.
- rswail 6y agoThere is, it's called INFORMATION_SCHEMA and defined by the SQL standard. https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/information-schema.html https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/information-schema.h... Postgres also has its own schema that is basically manipulated directly by the C runtime: https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/catalogs.html https://www.postgresql.org/docs/current/catalogs.html
