We may only be halfway, one third or less into this pandemic. I really hope that 1) the early vaccines will work 2) other mitigation strategies (masks, social distancing, quick tests at scale etc) will succeed in keeping R under 1 and small businesses above breakeven in case we're in for another 1-2 years of covid flare ups If the above don't work, we could be looking at mass unemployment, unbearable private and government debt, and more civil unrest
